This series of five weekly sessions explores the basic elements of art through drawing; line, shape, form, value, texture, and color. A sketch book and pencils is recommended for in-class warm-ups and optional homework. One take-home piece will be created each week in class with supplies provided by the art instructor. This is a great introductory to art for ages 8 and up!
Pour Out Your Art is a Christ-centered therapeutic art guide that blends the power of visual expression with the timeless model of prayer Jesus taught: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication. Rooted in biblical wisdom and supported by research in neuroscience and mental health, this guide invites you to engage your heart, hands, and spirit through simple, expressive art journaling practices.
Whether you're an artist or a beginner, this book offers a structured yet deeply personal way to explore your relationship with God. Through prompts, reflective questions, and symbolic exercises, you’ll experience prayer not just as spoken words—but as color, shape, and texture.
Perfect for individual reflection, group study, or therapeutic settings, this book is ideal for:
Christian creatives and journalers
Art therapists and counselors
Spiritual directors and retreat leaders
Youth pastors and educators
Anyone longing for a more tangible way to connect with God
This is your invitation to lay your burdens down, lift your heart up, and encounter God through the healing language of art.

Lent is a season of slowing down.
For forty days (not counting Sundays), we make space to reflect, to repent, to remember, and to prepare our hearts for Easter.
This free printable guide includes 40 Scripture-based art prompts designed to help you engage the story of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection in a creative, prayerful way. Each day offers a short meditation and an open-ended art invitation — no art experience required.
From Ash Wednesday to Holy Saturday, you’ll journey through themes of surrender, sacrifice, silence, and hope — culminating in the bold declaration:
He is risen.
This guide is intentionally non-denominational and rooted in the historic Christian story of Lent and Holy Week.
Print it. Journal through it. Use it personally or with a small group.
May it help you slow down, kneel at the cross, and rejoice in the resurrection.
Four templates to print out and use to make Butterfly Art Journals.
You’ll need these templates, carbon paper, a pencil, a kraft paper journal (about 6×8”), and acrylic paints (with brushes, jars of water, etc). I like to seal the journals with a clear spray to protect them and make them smooth and shiny as well! :-)
