More about j.lee

J. Lee Mancier is an artist, author, and educator who has experienced firsthand the grounding, healing power of creativity and faith. Her personal journey fuels a deep belief in the therapeutic and spiritual value of artistic expression.

Based in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, J. Lee lives with her husband and three sons. With over two decades of teaching experience, she has led art instruction in a variety of settings—from teaching in public and private schools, to private lessons and art camps; from an art therapy internship at a soup kitchen in Detroit, Michigan, to local healing workshops and cross-cultural initiatives in India, South Africa, and Guatemala. She holds a certification in Therapeutic Art Life Coaching and has completed graduate-level coursework toward a Master’s in Art Therapy. Her work explores the intersection of creativity, theology, and neuroscience.

J.Lee’s greatest passion is to encourage others to engage with art as a means of growth, reflection, emotional processing, and worship.
